Parking at Cappagh Parish Centre

As most of you are already aware the renovation of the church is due to begin shortly. With this in mind we would like to request that the car park is not used for parking large lorries or farm machinery. An incident recently caused stress to the people in the vicinity when a lorry which was leaking slurry was abandoned. As a result of this incident we have been advised to erect overhead barriers to prevent overnight parking of heavy goods vehicles. We regret any inconvenience caused to those who use the car park but these barriers won’t be installed for a few weeks to enable you to find alternative parking facilities.

A 4 day soccer fun coaching course will be held at Youth Sport, Cookstown Road, Omagh from Monday 20 - Thursday 23 August 2007 for boys & girls aged 5-17 years. Course Fee £25. 10am-3pm daily. Prayer Before Exams

Dear Father, Source of all wisdom,
help me to use my time and my intelligence wisely
as I prepare for exams.
Help me to dispose myself to listen to your Holy Spirit
so that you, as my loving Father,
may place me in a state of prayer
and lead me to understand
that the supreme wisdom
is knowing I am your child.
Help me to remain serene
so that my work may truly reflect
this profound truth
Mary, Mother of my spiritual life,
guide me in the ways of your Son,
so that my work may help
to transform this world for His glory.

Amen

Praying...and Waiting...and Patience
Let us ponder for a moment
Life's three seasons:
Praying...and waiting...and patience.
Life's unpredictable seasons.
The season of praying,
When we bring our concerns and worries
And lay them at Jesus' feet.
Crying out for God's help in our time of need.
The season of waiting,
When our timing is so much different than God's.
When we think we have waited too long
And yet there is more waiting to be done.
The season of patience,
When waiting and patience meet.
You cannot have one without the other.
They must go hand-in-hand.
Welcome prayer...and waiting...and patience
For we know God is teaching us
And using them for our good
To bring about His perfect will for our lives.
