Ministers
of the Word & Ministers of the
Eucharist
Ministers of the Word (Readers)
and Ministers of the Eucharist will
be commissioned at all Masses in
the Parish on the weekend of 5 /

In preparation for
the commissioning, ALL ministers
(existing ministers and new ministers)

to a reflection evening. It is hoped
that these evenings will help us
to have a deeper understanding of
what we do as Ministers of the Word
and Ministers of the Eucharist.

of the Word on Tuesday

For Ministers of the Eucharist
on Thursday 3 December
Each Reflection
evening will be held in Christ the

A
Night in November
- in St. Eugene's
Parochial Hall Newtownstewart on
Tuesday 24th Nov. @ 8.00pm. A one
man play based on the notorious
events surrounding the World Cup
qualifying match between Northern
Ireland and the Republic of Ireland
at Windsor Park in 1993. The match
took place in the wake of the Shankill
and Greysteel massacres and sectarian
chants from the crowd cut through
the stadium. The play, which is
part comedy/part tragedy, follows
Kenneth McAllister a Protestant
dole clerk who was at the match
and how it changed his life forever.
