At the
suggestion of several of our parishioners
we are introducing two
collections each month for
the fundraising appeal. You will find
these envelopes in the box with your
other envelopes. These
collections will take place on the
first and third Sunday of each month.
The
New (much needed) Killyclogher
Graveyard.
As most people
are already aware Killyclogher graveyard
is practically full. With this in
mind we have applied for planning
permission to develop a new cemetery
opposite Richmond Park.
A number of the residents
have raised objections on the grounds
that it will cause traffic congestion.
As your parish priest, I must express
my disappointment that you were unable
to come to me and discuss your grievances
before resorting to lodging an objection.
However what’s done is done.
At present, when
there is a funeral in Killyclogher,
the cars use the Cappagh Parish car
park and the park across the road.
I see no reason why this will change
if the new graveyard is sited opposite
Richmond Park. We will be advising
those who attend the funerals not
to park in Richmond Park and taking
steps to see that this is strictly
adhered to.

We welcome into the Parish Community
