Re-interment of Tyrone &
Fermanagh Hospital Graveyard
The site for the new hospital includes
‘Moore’s Hill’ which
contains a graveyard where up to the
mid 1940’s patients from the
old hospital were buried. To pay due
respect to those buried on the site,
a re-interment is required . The Western
Trust is eager to ensure that the
re-interment is carefully planned,
and handled with the sensitivity that
a task of this nature demands. The
Trust is particularly interested in
those who may have relatives buried
in the graveyard and would prefer
to make private arrangements. For
further information, please contact
Anita McConnell on 028 8283 5891 or

PENTECOST - Bringing the Spirit
through leaving !
It is often in our absence that the
Spirit of God manifests itself. When
Jesus left his disciples he said:
“It is for your own good that
I am going, because unless I go, the
Paraclete (the Spirit ) will not come
to you….However, when the spirit
of truth comes he will lead you to
the complete truth”. It was
only in Jesus’ absence that
his friends discovered the full meaning
of his presence. It was only in his
absence that they completely understood
his words and experienced full communion
with him; and it was only in his absence
that they could gather in a community
of faith, hope and love.
When we claim for ourselves that we
come to our friends in the name of
Jesus - that through us Jesus becomes
present to them - we can trust that
our leaving will also bring them the
Spirit of Jesus. Thus, not only our
presence but also our absence becomes
a gift to others
Prayer Before Exams
Dear Father, Source
of all wisdom,
help me to use my time and my intelligence
wisely
as I prepare for exams.
Help me to dispose myself to listen
to your Holy Spirit
so that you, as my loving Father,
may place me in a state of prayer
and lead me to understand
that the supreme wisdom
is knowing I am your child.
Help me to remain serene
so that my work may truly reflect
this profound truth
Mary, Mother of my spiritual life,
guide me in the ways of your Son,
so that my work may help
to transform this world for His glory.
Amen
Praying...and Waiting...and
Patience
Let us ponder for a moment
Life's three seasons:
Praying...and waiting...and patience.
Life's unpredictable seasons.
The season of praying,
When we bring our concerns and worries
And lay them at Jesus' feet.
Crying out for God's help in our time
of need.
The season of waiting,
When our timing is so much different
than God's.
When we think we have waited too long
And yet there is more waiting to be
done.
The season of patience,
When waiting and patience meet.
You cannot have one without the other.
They must go hand-in-hand.
Welcome prayer...and waiting...and
patience
For we know God is teaching us
And using them for our good
To bring about His perfect will for
our lives.
